Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
When it comes to motorcycle accidents, my main concern is if investigations have been fair and unbiased. A lot of folks are quick to judge riders, thinking they're all a bunch of reckless daredevils. I know from experience with countless victims and families, though, that motorcyclists are usually safe drivers who fall victim to the actions of people in larger vehicles. If that's what happened here, as well, then it's important to gather as much evidence as possible to ensure there's as little room for bias as possible. Whether or not authorities did that remains to be seen.
