Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
People tend to brush off train accidents and assume they're automatically open-and-shut. Like any serious accident, though, it's important the victim's loved ones know they're getting the full story. These accidents can involve factors from poor lighting to a lack of signage to medical conditions to issues with overgrowth or other conditions surrounding the tracks. Likely or not, it's important to consider all possibilities and make sure the victim's side of the story is told fairly.
