Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Even though authorities are clearly blaming a driver for this crash, that alone isn't likely the beginning and end of the story. Something I talk about frequently is how important it is for victims and families to have evidence telling their side of the story. Insurance companies look for any foothold possible to shift blame and muddy the waters. The more certainty there is surrounding the crash, the less room there is for those tactics. So as straight-forward as these preliminary details may seem, there could still be more to this story that authorities haven't adequately addressed.
