Teen Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Eastex Freeway in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — July 20, 2024, a teenager was injured as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 10:35 p.m. along the Eastex Freeway.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of Hopper Road, north of Houston.
Investigators said that a 19-year-old man from Houston was on foot walking along an underpass on the Eastex Freeway. While there, an SUV hit the teen, then reportedly left the scene.
The teen pedestrian was seriously injured. The runaway vehicle was described as grey or brown. It's unclear if authorities ever located the suspect.

If authorities haven't located a suspect, it might help to put more information out to the public. Someone is often able to connect dots that authorities couldn't. That way, there can finally be some accountability for what happened and proper closure for the victim and family involved.
