Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on F.M. 973 in Del Valle, TX
Del Valle, TX — April 25, 2023, a pedestrian was fatally injured following a car accident at around 5:30 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 973.
Preliminary details about the crash say that it took place near 2900 F.M. 973. This area appears to be between the intersections of Webberville Road and Highway 71, east of Austin and near the tollway.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, a person was on F.M. 973 at the time for reasons which are not currently specified. While there, a vehicle struck that person. That vehicle apparently stayed at the scene. Due to the collision, the unidentified pedestrian injured in the accident ultimately succumbed to those injuries.
Authorities did not say if any charges or citations are being filed. They have yet to release specifics regarding the events leading up to the collision. No further information is available as the investigations are ongoing.
