UPDATE (April 14, 2023): Recent details identified two of the victims in the crash as 40-year-old Jaime Deluna II and 40-year-old Shirley Garrido. Additional details regarding the crash remain unconfirmed.
San Antonio, TX — April 2, 2023, an officer and two others were injured following a car accident along Eisenhauer Road.
Preliminary details about the collision happened early Sunday morning in the area of Eisenhauer and Fratt Road.

According to officials, it appears that a San Antonio Police cruiser was hit from behind by another vehicle. Due to this, the officer and two people from the other vehicle were injured. The factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.

Perhaps more information will come to light later on, but it might surprise people to see how often there are vague reports like this that never get a follow up.
