Minor Killed, Guadalupe Ramirez Injured in Truck Accident on Singley Rd. in Loleta, CA
Humbolt County, CA — March 5, 2024, a teenager was Killed and Guadalupe Ramirez was injured in a truck accident along Singley Road.
According to authorities, the accident took place at the Singley Road and Singley Hill Road intersection.

The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between a Freightliner hauling empty flatbed trailers and A Nissan Frontier occupied by 65-year-old Guadalupe Ramirez and a 16-year-old boy. The Nissan reportedly caught fire as a result of the wreck. The truck driver—who was apparently unhurt—and a good samaritan were able to extract Guadalupe Ramirez from the Nissan. However, they were unable to extricate the teenage boy from the wreckage.
The teenager incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Ramirez suffered suspected severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
