Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Sometimes when authorities see slick roads, their assumption is the driver was going too fast for conditions. That's obviously a possibility to consider. But that shouldn't distract from other possible contributing factors. Vehicle defects, road design, lighting, issues with vehicle safety devices, etc. At the end of the day, a proper accident reconstruction isn't just a look at the most likely explanation. It's about gathering all the facts and letting the evidence speak for itself.
