Man Injured in Truck Accident at Telge Road in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — June 9, 2024, a man was injured as the result of a truck accident at around 5:00 a.m. along Grand Parkway.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of Highway 99 and Telge Road northwest of Houston.

Officials say that a man was in a Chevy Camaro going westbound along the Grand Parkway. Due to factors not confirmed, the car crashed with the trailer of an 18-wheeler. Due to this, the man was seriously injured.
There were no other reported injuries. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

People see vehicles hit the back of a tractor-trailer, and they assume the rear driver must have been at fault. The reality is a lot of things can happen. Could it be something like following too closely, speeding, or distraction? Of course. It could also be things like tire failure, medical conditions, road hazards, defective brakes, evasive maneuvers, etc. It's not about what's likely or not. It's about what the evidence says. Did investigators work to get all of the evidence here?
