2 Injured in Multi-vehicle Car Accident on I.H. 35 in Austin, TX
Austin, TX — November 13, 2024, two people were injured in a multi-vehicle car accident at approximately 6:15 a.m. along Interstate Highway 35.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I.H. 35 in the vicinity south of U.S. 290.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, five separate vehicles were involved in the wreck. It appears that two people who were part of the crash suffered injuries of unknown severity, though they were not described to have been life-threatening. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
