Nicholas Torres Injured in Hit-and-run Accident in Von Ormy, TX
Bexar County, TX — December 31, 2023, Nicholas Torres was injured following a hit-and-run accident at around 7:00 p.m. along Highway 16.
According to initial details released by authorities, the crash happened on northbound lanes of the highway off West Jett Road.

Investigators said that 35-year-old Nicholas Patrick Torres was in a Honda CR-V going northbound on the highway. Authorities say the Honda had the right-of-way as it passed Jett Road, but an eastbound Silverado apparently failed to stop and crashed with the Honda. Authorities say two people in the Silverado then left the scene of the accident.
Torres had what was believed to be serious injuries resulting from the accident. Two children in the Honda had possibly minor injuries. Authorities said they were recommending multiple charges, but additional details about the accident can't be confirmed at this time.
