Joel Baeza Jr. Killed in Car Accident on Highway 82 in Port Arthur, TX
Port Arthur, TX — June 6, 2023, Joel Baeza Jr. was killed in a motor vehicle accident around 6:11 a.m. while northbound on Highway 82 in Port Arthur.
According to officials, the victim's Honda Civic was traveling north approaching S. Levee Road while a BMW 328 was southbound when the two vehicles collided in a frontal offset crash. The impact reportedly caused Mr. Baeza Jr. to lose control of the Civic and it veered toward its driver's side and fell into a ship channel.
Joel Baeza Jr. was fatally injured.
Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
