Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
When it comes to single-vehicle wrecks, people are usually concern about how their side of the story will be told. That's perfectly reasonable. In fact, it's a prudent concern, considering how many times I've seen authorities brush aside single-vehicle wrecks like they're a low priority. That's when investigators might move on before they've really had a chance to preserve evidence. As such, independent investigations sometimes become necessary if victims or families want to be sure the full story is being told fairly.
