Man, Teen Injured in Car Accident on U.S. Highway 69 in Greenville, TX
Hunt County, TX — March 26, 2025, a man and a teen were injured following a car accident at around 8:55 p.m. along U.S. Highway 69.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 69/Joe Ramsey Boulevard and Lee Street.
According to officials, a 27-year-old man, a 49-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy were in a Chevy Malibu traveling southbound on the highway. Somehow, the vehicle ended up leaving its lane. It reportedly crashed into an attenuation device.
Due to the crash, the teen and the man riding passenger in the Chevy had serious injuries. The driver apparently wasn't hurt. Right now, additional details remain unconfirmed.

If authorities didn't dedicate the necessary time and equipment to examining the vehicle and the crash scene, they may have overlooked important details. This can also happen when accidents are seen as a low priority, and authorities move on without going in-depth into the evidence. - Has a vehicle defect been considered?
Brake failure, steering issues, or tire problems could have caused the vehicle to veer off course. These possibilities require a thorough inspection of the vehicle—something that’s often skipped unless someone pushes for it early. - Was crash-related electronic data preserved?
Many vehicles record speed, braking, and steering input before a crash. Along with phone records or nearby surveillance footage, this data can help explain how the crash occurred—but only if it’s secured promptly.
Asking these questions gives families and victims the best chance at understanding what really happened and whether further investigation is needed.
