Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
6th Street can get pretty rowdy, as most people from the area know, and unfortunately incidents like this can't always be foreseen or avoided. However, it's always important to be thorough in the investigations, including looking into the location where a shooting occurred. If, for example, a particular establishment sees an unusually high amount of violent incidents, it would suggest there are more problems to address than just finding and charging the people directly involved in the violence. Whether or not this particular establishment has any such issues to address would depend on more thorough investigations.
