Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One thing I wonder is if authorities looked at nearby businesses or residences to check for cameras. These days, a lot of people have security systems which sometimes have a view of the road. That could help provide an image of a suspect vehicle authorities could publish to get more eyes on the situation. Someone is bound to connect the dots and come forward with new details authorities need to make an arrest. That evidence is often time-sensitive, though, it's best to search sooner rather than later.
