Three Killed in Vehicle Accident on Highway 27 in Roopville, GA
Roopville, GA — October 9, 2023, three people were killed in a vehicle crash on Highway 27 near the Highway 5 intersection in Roopville, GA.
Authorities indicate that on October 9, a fatal accident occurred when three vehicles collided in Roopville for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened just before 8:45 at night.
Investigators say a Lincoln Towncar was traveling in the opposite direction in the southbound lanes when it collided with two oncoming vehicles, a Chevrolet and a Mazda Cruze. The impact reportedly caused a fire at the scene along Highway 27. Sources say one of the vehicles also overturned.
Officials confirmed that three people, whose names have not been released, were killed in the collision. No additional details have been released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
