Franklin, AR — June 9, 2025, One person was killed following a UTV accident that occurred at around 7:23 P.M. on South Highway 23.

According to reports, an Arctic Cat UTV operated by a 17-year-old male with two teenage passengers was traveling south on State Highway 23 when it lost control for unknown reasons and overturned, ejecting the driver.

When first responders arrived on the scene they found that the driver was fatally injured and pronounced deceased, while the passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries, their current condition is unknown.
