Alisa Allen Killed in Hit-and-run Accident off U.S. 290 in Manor, TX
Travis County, TX — May 22, 2023, Alisa Allen was fatally injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around 2:00 a.m. on U.S. Highway 290.
According to preliminary information released by authorities, the collision took place along westbound lanes of the highway off the corner of Gregg Manor Road. It appears the exact time of the collision is unclear, but authorities put it somewhere between midnight and 3:00 a.m.

Investigators said that 54-year-old Alisa Allen was on foot at the time in the roadway. It's unclear if Allen was crossing the roadway or walking along it. While there, police say a westbound Kia Optima struck Allen, then left the scene. Allen was ultimately found deceased at the scene.
While exact circumstances are unclear, details suggest that authorities identified the vehicle and driver involved, and there was apparently a recommendation for a failure to stop and render aid charge. This has yet to be conformed pending investigations.
